Hello and Welcome
I’m Joanne Garlich and I use she/her and they/them pronouns. I am a licensed psychotherapist in Minneapolis and I provide individual psychotherapy to adults and adolescents. I specialize in working with individuals who are looking to reduce their stress, anxiety, or depression. I also work with individuals in the LGBTQ+ community. In addition, I offer guided relaxation, which can be combined with talk therapy or provided as a stand-alone service. My calm, caring, and non-judgmental approach to psychotherapy creates a safe environment for you to feel heard and validated. You will learn new ways to cope, take steps to regain balance in your life, and find a needed sense of relief and hope. My office is conveniently located in South Minneapolis, and evening and weekend hours are available.
I received my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Western Washington University, and began my career in Washington State before returning to my native Twin Cities. My approach to psychotherapy combines cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness, and sessions are tailored to fit the needs and goals of each individual.
Please contact me at 651-968-7822 or joannegarlich@ptpmn.org for further information or to schedule an initial appointment. I look forward to being of help.
